Evernote releases browser extension to hide distractions

Evernote has released a browser extension called 'Clearly', which works on the principle of protecting users from distractions. For instance, if you're on a website and there are multiple distractions like pop- up ads, regular ads and links to other content, Clearly will step-in and make your page 'stand alone'. Which means you will only see the content that the page provides and nothing else. Another service that Clearly offers is - if an article you're viewing an article that goes over multiple pages, when you click Clearly on, it will consolidate the entire article onto a single page. There is also a 'save it for later feature', where, if you're not done reading an article and you need to step away, Clearly will save the page to your Evernote account. You can tag your Clearly clips and access those tags when you use Evernote on a different device for easier reading.

Clearly offers three options for themes: Newsprint (as the name suggests, the page looks like a newspaper), Notable (page resembles a notebook) and Night Owl (with a dark background for reading in the dark). If you're not satisfied with these themes, you can create your own from extension preferences. Clearly does all of its work within the browser and never sends content to Evernote unless you make it.
