Samsung may enhance the battery life of your smartphone

Seems like Samsung read our Tech wishlist of the future article, well partially, at least. According to a report by CBS News, Samsung is planning to set a minimum threshold for battery life for their upcoming smartphones. What this means is that, they’re aiming for phone batteries should be able to last at least a full day on average or moderately heavy usage.

Finally some solace..

Finally some solace..

Battery life has always plagued smartphones in the recent past, with very few of them actually lasting the full day on high usage. That has also led most of us to charge our phones overnight, so that we can use the phone for most of the day. Samsung is also planning to get bigger batteries to their phones, along with better optimization in the near future, so for example, your phone will be a lot smarter searching for Wi-Fi or whilst using 3G services. However, Kevin Packingham, Vice President of product innovation at Samsung has mentioned that power smartphone users will always have a problem with their battery life, irrespective of any improvements.
